Sixty years ago this summer a great historical moment in the UK was celebrated across the land: the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. To celebrate this momentous occasion Andrew James are providing a Day Trip to Buckingham Palace.
A major exhibition will be held at Buckingham Palace created for the first time since the coronation in 1953 and displaying a dizzying array of dress, uniform, robes worn by the principal royal party, works of art, paintings, and other objects used on the day will be available to see in order to recreate the extraordinary atmosphere of that wonderful occasion in 20th century British history.
The centrepiece of the exhibition is Her Majesty’s magnificent Coronation Dress and Coronation Robe. This exciting day out is a must for everyone who enjoys the Royal Family and who stood by and watched with the world on June 2nd 1953.
